Just Before you take up Engineering as your career :

we would like to insist that Engineering can never be considered as a curse! There are several trolls off-late about Engineers in Social Media & in Films. People come with conclusion that Engineers after graduating doesn’t get employed in their respective field or they don’t get a good pay. The problem is that, in India the number of Engineering Colleges have increased in the last 8 years up-to 3600+. Whereas till 2012 it was around 1500+ Colleges.

However, if you are very much passionate about the field you choose, if you prepare proper internships right from your second year and if you complete an innovative project during your final year, I am sure job placement will be as flat as a pancake with a decent salary package that you deserve!
